She didn't pick it out but that's her name. She goes by Aria but her father always called her Luna, to either A) soother her when she was upset or B) yell at her. She grew up as an explorer with her father. She loves to be outside, in the flower fields, in the forest, or in river; she loves it all. She is also one of the closest friends to Mirana, The White Queen. Often times you will see her in and out of the White Queen's castle and in and out of her own little Cottage with her black horse Balint who is her dear companion in these troubled times.
She also has lots of revenge and hatred built up inside of her, because the Red Queen locked her little sister way in her Castle, Why? Oh She doesn't know the real reason but she thinks it's either because the Red Queen see's it as a way to make the White Queens court crumble because Mirana's best friend's sister is under The red Queens watchful eye. Or Maybe because Alva was so young, the Red Queen saw another pupil to teach all her evil ways too and corrupt and make Alva her minion. Aria doesn't know but she does know that at one point she will free her sister. How? Well she doesn't exactly know that part yet.

Opium sees Aria as just another one of Mirana's do-gooder lackeys, paranoid that his his cousin is plotting for his loyalty. Due to her affiliation, he acts high and mighty around her, competing with her and often times getting into arguments. He can't stand her attitude, and is often tempted to kill her, or inform the Red Queen against her. He hasn't - yet.

At first, I'm thinking of him taking to her horribly, seeing that she is is loyal to the White Queen. But, eventually (maybe starting with an accident where Aria becomes wounded) he starts to soften a bit around her, eventually moving away from Iracebeth, and maybe develop feelings for her.
