SHOW ME HOW TO LIE ♠ - - - ♠ - - - ♠ I'm getting better all the time[/sub] LOTTI-RAHZIEL PONDERED
on a few things before responding. So a bond was like...an alliance. You trust one persone with one thing and they trust you back with another, relying on hope to make sure they don't screw things up. It just seemed so...so...stupid, rely on another when you could do something. And that's what she and Dinah had now? Sort of an alliance, but not quiet. Lotti was quiet sure she wasn't going to make any "bonds" with the cat except for a mutal alliance. But the whole"willingness" part confused her. Both people had to be willing to trust in each either to make a bond? Don't make her laugh. Most things wernt formed by willingness, but more like desperation. If you wanted a friend, you were definatly open to new "bonds", but if you had all the friends you needed, willingness wasn't importent. Back to the conversation, she thought on her words for a bit before awnsering. "My family is all dead,"she said, her eyes returning to their brown color. "my parents were killed in a natural occuring thunder strom. My brother...well, let's just leave it at the fact he's dead with no questions," she said with a smirk. Oh how she did find killing her brother to be quiet amusing, but the moment was gone. She could only relive the memories in her head now. Her eyes scanned the area. It has been quiet for some time now. They must be nearing the middle of the forest. With a spin of the heel, she turned around, walking the exact way they'd came from. She didn't want to near head that direction anymore. - - - ♠ - - - ♠ - - - nya ♠WORD COUNT♠ posted with phone ♠NOTES♠ you're gonna go far kid by the offspring ♠LYRICS♠ dinah/open ♠TAGGED♠ [/blockquote][/blockquote]

As they continued their trek, Dinah wondered if she would ever find Alice. everywhere she looked the plantation looked different, as if they changed on their own accord and shifted to play tricks on her senses. The whole forest was alive with foreign smells and sounds, keeping the feline on a constant sort of edge.
Then again, between getting lost in her jumbled thoughts and being kept on her toes (uh paws), she preferred to be stalking cautiously.
At the same time she kept an ear pricked towards Nora as she spoke to her, wondering how a girl such as herself could be wandering out in the wilderness on her own, without her family. What kind of family unit would allow their youngling to roam about in this dangerous forest without a single mode of defense? Or adult supervision?
"My family is all dead,"
Ah, that might explain their lack of presence. Dinah's lips formed a silent 'O' as she nodded in comprehension.
"my parents were killed in a natural occuring thunder strom. My brother...well, let's just leave it at the fact he's dead with no questions,"
There was that small up-curl of the mouth, and Dinah couldn't suppress a slight shudder at how much colder her smile was. It may not have lasted long before she returned to her neutral face, but just for that moment, the feline was able to see the malice and cruelty. Just a hint of what this girl was truly capable of.
This is what happens to human-kits that are left to run wild... Thought Dinah morosely. For while it was no secret that some feline mothers consumed their young in desperate times, but none wanted their children to suffer. And unless in the name of self-defence or protection of their family, genocide in cold blood among cats was taboo and highly frowned upon.
Still, she said nothing. As if she remembered that curiosity did indeed kill the cat, or at least one of her kittens and now was not a good time to die.
When she returned from her brief fall back into her thoughts, Dinah noticed that Nora was no longer in her line of sight. Until she heard footsteps fading away behind her.
With a soft 'meep', Dinah spun around and hurried to keep pace with Nora once more. She was thinking about offering her condolences at first, only to bite back on her tongue since it didn't look like Nora needed consoling. At least not with that smirk.
"Uh, I don't suppose you know where to actually find a castle around here do you?"
The faster she got Nora her sword, the faster she could find her way to Alice and homeward bound.

glad the cat didn't say, anything more about her family. It was lame how people thought that she really cared about her family. No, she was glad they died. They woke her up in the morning, always wearing a smile on their faces. It was horrible. That's why she followed up her brothers death after her parents died. He was so fucking annoying, always want to play or do something qhen she wanted to sleep. Even when they were fishing for food, he decided he wanted some fun and pushed her underwater. Stupif boy. She traced her steps back. The way they had been going was the wrong way, so now Lotti knew where to go, though she really didn't know where she was going. "Well, there's the white queens castle...somewhere. and then there's the red queens castle...somewhere," she said, about to suggest stealing from a blacksmith, but then realized what the cat might have been thinking: the best swords would be at the castle where knights rested. "But I don't know where to find them, exactly. That will be up to you,"she said, passing the pond area where she and the cat first met. "Don't expect me to help you."- - - ♠ - - - ♠ - - - nya ♠WORD COUNT♠ posted with phone ♠NOTES♠ you're gonna go far kid by the offspring ♠LYRICS♠ Dinah/open ♠TAGGED♠ [/blockquote][/blockquote]

"Well, there's the white queens castle...somewhere. and then there's the red queens castle...somewhere,"
The little bell tinkled as Dinah looked from left to right, trying to figure out which way led to the White Queen's castle and which way led to the Red Queen's. She tried to recall Alice's stories of 'Wonderland', and remembered something about a very large headed woman of rose red hair and powder white face, with a terrible temper. There was also something about missing heads.
Dinah unconsciously lifted a hand to her neck, gently rubbing at it as if to make sure her head was still attached.
"But I don't know where to find them, exactly. That will be up to you, Don't expect me to help you."
A small troubled frown crossed the ginger woman's features for just a second before she schooled it into determination and aloofness. "I don't," she half lied, "I'm sure I'll have no trouble figuring my way around. In fact I'll leave right away."
She sniffed once and with all the pride of a tabby queen, tilted her chin up, straightened her shoulders and started to stalk off in one direction. Conviction in every step... Until she began to doubt herself. Then she did a one-eighty and began to stalk the other way, sure that it had to be the right way...
Until she stopped again.
"Huh..." she exhaled, "This looked a lot simpler in my head than I thought it would be."
The forest kept shifting before her eyes, daring her to take another step off the beaten path. Dinah shook her head; things were so much easier when she still had her fur coat and whiskers. But there was no use crying over spilt milk, or potion, only to pick up the pieces and just carry on as she'd always done.
She came to a decision; if she couldn't go left or right, she'd just simply move forward. And just as she was about to set off, she turned back to Nora with just a touch of uncertainty on her face.
"Where will I find you later?"

SHOW ME HOW TO LIE ♠ - - - ♠ - - - ♠ I'm getting better all the time[/sub] LOTTI-RAHZIEL WAS
off in her own little day dream, thinking about real beds and lots of bread and butterflies. A smile made its way to her lips and her eyes looked distant and yellow- for happyness. Oh, she loved dreams. It was your own little world that only you could control and that no one could take it from you. Half tripping on a root brought her back to reality. She stubled a bit before regaining her balance. Stupid forest, always wanting to do something new or torment underlanders that passed through. Then the cat asked where to meet up later. Hm...where? Yes, that would be a bit of a problem, not finding each other but Lotti had a good meeting place that barely anyone could miss. "How about we meet up at the pool of tears? You can't miss it," she said with a shrug, sitting down. She was tired again. Food could wait another hour or two. She pointed in a direction. "Go that way and I think you'll find the white queens castle, but I'm not so sure. Its a start, at least," she said, and within minutes, Lotti was once again in her dream land. - - - ♠ - - - ♠ - - - nya ♠WORD COUNT♠ posted with phone ♠NOTES♠ you're gonna go far kid by the offspring ♠LYRICS♠ dinah/open ♠TAGGED♠ [/blockquote][/blockquote]

"How about we meet up at the pool of tears? You can't miss it,"Dinah nodded and absently swiped at the newfound nuisance that was her fringe, blowing errant strands out of the way. "As you say," she turned and looked up at where the leaves parted slightly to expose a patch of sky. And how odd was it that the colour of the sky was that of a newly bloomed primrose and yet the moon was already up there in the pale blue, surrounded by stars. The woman-cat pointed towards the silver crescent, "When the moon completes her cycle and is at her fullest, I shall meet you at the pool of tears with the sword you have requested for. This I swear to you." She knows that Nora had already told her not to expect any aid from her, but she still cannot help but hesitate a little when she faces the semi fog of the wilderness beyond. "Go that way and I think you'll find the white queens castle, but I'm not so sure. Its a start, at least,"A blink and Dinah fully smiles now, grateful for the little tidbit of information no matter how small. She wants to thank the solemn girl but figures that it may not be such a good idea when she sees those brown eyes slide shut in sleep. It is better not to disturb her, for cats too did not like being disrupted during the recharging of their energies. Dinah believed that a part of one's self left the body when entering the dream state, and judging from the look of peace on Nora's face, she was already in the land of waking sleep. "May your dreams find you happier roads." she whispered before disappearing swiftly into the thick of the forests like a ginger shadow, her heart set on home and her mind set on her task of fetching the sword. She knew she didn't have much time. I'm on my way Alice, please be alright...
